With the global presence of COVID19, Anglemont Estates Golf Course is implementing a phased opening for the 2020 season to optimize safety protocols first for members and punch card holders as of May 1st, 2020 and then to the public as of May 13th, 2020.
May 1, 2020: Members & Punch card holders ONLY. Please contact the pro shop at 250-955-2323 if you wish to purchase a punch card or a membership. Discounted rates will be offered at this time.
May 13th, 2020 Open to public with tee times available from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm daily. Please utilize our Web-site at www.golfanglemont.com for your on-line booking or call the pro-shop at 250-955-2323.
Walk-ins will only be accepted after May 13th from 1:00 pm -5:00 pm. (This will change suddenly based on restrictions being lifted or applied due to COVID19 changes and updates.)
Here are the steps we are taking to provide the safest and most enjoyable golf environment for everyone. Please note these policies and procedures are subject to change at any time.
General Information and Procedures
If you have travelled outside of Canada, you are not permitted at our facility until you have self-isolated for a minimum of 14 days.
If you are showing symptoms of COVID-19, please do not come to our facility. Call you doctor, local public health or call 8-1-1.
If you live in a household with someone who has COVID-19 or is showing symptoms of COVID-19, please do not come to our facility.
Please practice social distancing at all times (6ft apart from each other) NO handshaking, NO fist-pumping, NO hugging etc. We strongly encourage the air high-5! J
Do not handle each other’s golf balls, tees, ball markers etc.
Designate a score keeper so that only one person is touching the score card.
We will not be providing, pencils, coolers or sand bottles on the power carts at this time. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PENCILS AND COOLERS AND ICE PACKS OR ICE IF NEEDED. (Coolers will be subject to inspection prior to your tee time).
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN HAND SANITIZER AS WE WILL NOT HAVE ANY AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC FOR SAFETY REASONS.
THE CLUBHOUSE WILL REMAIN LOCKED AND UNAVAILABLE TO MEMBERS AND GUESTS AT ALL TIMES.
The restrooms, with access on the outside of the pro shop will be open and will be sanitized hourly. Please take all necessary precautions and clean up after yourselves to assist in doing your part to keep everyone safe. Wash your hands wash your hands wash your hands.
Tee Time Policy
MEMBERS & Punch card holders ONLY play will be available 5 days a week Wednesday – Sunday commencing May 1st, 2020 to May 12th, 2020.
3-day advance booking privileges for Members only.
All tee time reservations must be made online through our website at www.golfanglemont.com or by calling the pro shop at 250-955-2323.
Reservations for members and punch card holders only will open May 1st, 2020. As of May 13th, 2020 Members can book their tee times from 9:00 am – noon and the course will be open to the public as of 1:00 pm. We will be open 7 days a week as of Thursday May 21st.
The first available tee time will be at 9:00 am until May 21, 2020 at which time it will change to 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Tee times will be 10 minutes apart.
There are no club rentals available at this time.
There are no pull cart rentals at this time.
We will have available brand name pre-packaged (sleeve) new golf balls only. We will not be selling inidividual used golf balls at this time.
There will be no tee times booked between Noon and 1:00 pm as this time will be utilized to sanitize equipment and applicable areas for everyones safety.
Tee time availability is based on the functionality and availability of our power carts at this time. Please check the tee sheet as more tee times will be released as the limitations of the power carts improve.
Carts MUST be off the golf course by 7:00 pm. NO EXCEPTIONS
Same-day replay rounds may not be available.
Private Cart Policy
Members and community golfers that own their own power carts are subject to a trail fee payable prior to using the facility. At this time we strongly request that you do not lend out your golf carts to others. We will not be allowing anyone other than the owner(s) of the cart to use it without advance notice from the owner and this will also be subject to a seperate fee. For members wishing to store their golf carts at the club, please contact the Pro Shop at 250-955-2323 for specific changes related to COVID19 and relative documentation.
Upon arrival please check in at the Pro Shop window located on the West side of the building. Please keep a safe distance from the window as marked on the concrete.
All guests are encouraged to pay via tap with your credit or debit card. No cash please.
You will then be assigned your power cart if you booked one which you will retrieved from a designated area.
MAXIMUM 1 person per cart unless you are riding with someone in your household. Remember, they must have a punch card or be a member until May 13th, 2020.
You are required to load and unload your items on the power carts yourselves.
Once your cart is loaded and ready to go on the course, you must return to the Pro-shop for inspection. We are priveleged to be a licensed facility and private alcohol is absolutely not permitted on this course. (or any other). If private alcohol is brought to the course, it will be confiscated and returned to you after your round.
Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes prior to your tee time (so as to limit the number of people in the parking lot and around the clubhouse building).
Please be at the first tee and teeing off at your specific tee time.
Food and beverage (PRE-PACKAGED) take-out service will be available from the Pro-Shop, with concession items available from 9:00 am-12:00 pm and 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
Only prepackaged alcohol will be sold at this time. Beer, coolers, etc. (Individual servings in a can or bottle). There will be no mixed drinks available at this time. (Hi-Balls etc).
Practice Facility Policy
The driving net will not be open at this time.
The 1st Tee putting green is only available to the group that is next up on the tee box.
There will be no hole or flagstick on the practice green.
Coming to Anglemont Estates Golf Course just to utilize the practice facilities is not permitted at this time.
On Course Measures
There will be no rakes in the bunkers.
The bunkers are to be played as Ground Under Repair at this time
On course washroom at hole 6 is closed.
There will be no sand bottles.
Cups will be set so golf balls will not enter the hole. A putt is to be considered sunk if it hits the cup and comes to rest within 12 inches of the cup.
Please refrain from touching the flagstick.
Garbage and recycling bins will only be available at the cart drop-off area and will be clearly labelled. Please keep your garbage in your cart while on the course.
Please do not approach any other party or group on the course. Please keep your distance and be respectful of others health and well-being.
All tables and benches on course will be unavailable. Please do not use them.
After Round Policy
Please return your power cart to the designated cart drop off area in the parking lot.
Garbage and recycling bins will be available in the designated cart drop off area.
Please COMPLETELY empty your cart of all personal belongings and garbage. Make sure you double check as we get a lot of cell-phones, wallets, sunglasses etc. left behind regularly.
Park the used cart in the designated drop off area and leave the key in the ignition.
If you have placed an order for take-out service from the Pro-Shop, please call 250-955-2323 to arrange your pick up or come to the Pro-Shop window when it is clear and safe to do so.
Our patio is closed for now (sadly) to adhere to provincial Covid19 Guidelines and we look forward to re-opening when it is safe to do so.
Please avoid socializing in the parking lot after your round and respect the 6 foot boundary with everyone.
Anyone not in compliance with all of these policies and procedures will be at risk of having their membership or golfing privileges suspended.
